Quite simply,
you can best be sure of your own products when you can rely on the ingredients
that go into them. With KMC special ingredients, you know that the raw
materials used are the best available, with the key advantage that we
always know where they came from and how they were grown. Relationships are crucial To ensure this, KMC has built up unique long-term working relationships with selected suppliers all over the world. For us, having the best, most reliable and most committed suppliers is crucial in ensuring that you get ingredients that are of top quality, with documented provenance and in compliance with all relevant quality principles, including HACCP, ISO, AIB and others. Investing in each other At KMC, we don’t just buy from our suppliers. We invest in them, help them in all kinds of practical ways, run trials on how they can improve their crops and share our accumulated know-how with them. In fact, many of them are actually also part-owners of KMC, and we have farmer suppliers on our board of directors – which means we all work towards the same goals. At KMC, we don’t just buy in the raw materials for our ingredients from the anonymity of world markets. We have a clear policy of buying from our own carefully vetted suppliers, where we can document exactly where and how the particular product was grown and harvested. |
