Agronomy
The agronomy department is responsible for the multiplication of quality seed potatoes for the farmers who deliver to KMC’s three native starch factories and to KMC Granules.
Every year, we conduct a number of tests and field trials using potatoes. These are mainly concerned with testing different strains of potatoes, but we also conduct tests into the use of fertilisers and chemicals. A number of these experiments are made in cooperation with the Danish Agricultural Advisory Centre and the Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences.
