| 03 October 2005 | The 2005/2005 campaign is off to a great start at KMC’s starch factories and at KMC Granules. The 2005 growing season has been challenging, but the Danish farmers are among the best in the world and problems that can occur during cold and rainy summers have been overcome. In late August the weather improved and September has also been warm and sunny, which proved to be very beneficial for the yield in the potato fields. Many potatoes are already harvested and KMC expects to produce its allotted quota. The quality of the potatoes is excellent. |
