Supply situation in Europe develops for the worse It became clear already in early July 2006 that our potato harvest would be lower than average this year. With each passing day the supply situation is getting worse. Shortage and price increases unavoidable Denmark is the most stable country for potato growing. All our farmers can irrigate, but even in Denmark the harvest will be much lower than usual. The consequences are shortages and heavy price increases. The corn and wheat starch markets also indicate heavy price increases |
