KMC appoints Mr. Henrik Christiansen Purchasing Manager

KMC is pleased to inform that per May 1, 2007

Mr. Henrik Christiansen

has been appointed Purchasing Manager. He will continue to report to Technical Director Mr. Jesper Jensen.

Henrik’s road to the position as Purchasing Manager has been somewhat long. At the end of the last millennium Henrik took over the responsibility for purchase of all packaging material and in early 2005 the area of responsibility was extended to include purchase of chemicals. The third large area is purchase of freight and this will be transferred to Henrik per May 1, 2007.

The day-to-day running of the shipping department will continue to be managed by Mr. Lars Bo Pedersen.

In addition to the purchasing functions Henrik will continue as multi-IT-superuser (stocks, shipping, production [partly] and purchasing) and also as key figure in a number of IT-development projects.

Henrik lets us know that also after May 1st we may address him by his first name!
