21 August 2007   90 years old and still going strong
KMC’s Brande factory is not only one of the oldest potato starch factories in Europe, it is also one of the most modern and energy efficient.

With the 2007/08 campaign just starting up the spry 90 year old is top tuned and ready to process this year's harvest into the high quality starch that is preferred by food producers all over the world.

The first potatoes of the season are being processed - and in spite of the continuously updated process equipment - at the Brande factory it is “same procedure as last year”.

Much has changed over the past 90 years.
