Continued focus on strengthening the area of Functional Ingredients
We are excited to be able to introduce Stig Groven at the latest addition to our marketing organisation. As of January 1, 2009 Stig will fill a combined position as Product Manager, Functional Ingredients and Group Manager, Application Services.
 
The position as Product Manager, Functional Ingredients is a natural continuation of KMC's increasing focus on specialised (value-added) products and solutions. To support the continued growth in this area the need for an overall development, prioritizing, and coordination of the activities within Functional Ingredients has been created. We consider growth in this business area a strategic cornerstone for us and we expect to invest further resources in the area also in the future.
 
KMC wants to offer unique technical consulting to customers and cooperative partners within our field and we have therefore in recent years added technical resources both at the Headquarters in Denmark and at our foreign subsidiaries. In the position as Group Manager, Application Services Stig Groven will also handle the overall development and coordination in the area of Application Services.
 
With more than 20 years experience from similar positions with one of the world’s largest suppliers of food ingredients Stig has all the qualifications to contribute to KMC’s growth and development.
