| 8 July 2009 | The MC in KMC might as well stand for MotorCycle. A group of more
than 25 people with relation to KMC, to potatoes and to potato starch
all have a passion in common: Their Motorbikes! For 5 years running this group of enthusiasts meets once a year to take a trip together, usually in June when the weather has warmed up and Denmark is in full bloom. This year 26 bikers met on June 19. They started the trip at Karup Kartoffelmelfabrik from where they took off for the sights of Middle Jutland including the old Resen brown coal fields, Dollerup Hills, the Blicher Stone and Grove Church with the WW II cemetery. After an enjoyable afternoon of riding the country roads the group ended the day with a social gathering and everybody agreed that it had been yet another successful event and plans were made for next year. See you in June! |
