| 22 December 2009 | To produce starch you need energy. Having said that, we assure you, that we have constant focus on using as little energy as needed. Over the last decade our starch factories has been modernized with the newest and most energy efficient equipment. Bench marks tell us, that we are the leading company on energy efficiency. Still we constantly strive for lower numbers. This year our factory in Brande has invested in a energy speedometer. The speedometer collects data from the SRO program and tells the process operators on-line whether the production is running as energy efficiently as possible. The goal is to use as much energy as required, but as little as needed. |
