| 29 April 2010 | KMC recognizes that the approval by the European Commission of the GM amylopectin potato Amflora will provide interesting opportunities for future development in non-food applications. KMC is solely dedicating it’s business activities in the food application area, and thus the approval of the Amflora potato will not influence our present business activities. We wish to make it clear, that KMC processes only non-GM potato starches in all of our factories, and at this stage neither produces nor sells GM starches, fiber, proteins or other GM related products.
