New CEO at KMC
KMC announces that its board of directors has named Nicolai Hansen to serve as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Nicolai Hansen takes over the position on October 1, 2010.

Nicolai Hansen is 53 years old. He holds a MSc(Econ.) in marketing from the Aarhus School of Business. He has more than 25 years experience with management of international food businesses, including DANDY A/S, Kelsen A/S and Rahbekfisk A/S. In addition to general management Nicolai Hansen's field of expertise also includes management in international sales, marketing and innovation. He has been active in markets in all parts of the world and is a.o. responsible for building an efficient and successful organization for DANDY A/S in Russia.

The Danish Potato Starch industry is facing many challenging tasks in the coming years. Nicolai Hansen will head up the implementation of KMC's adopted strategy of increased efforts in the areas of business development and innovation, which will bring KMC strengthened through the challenges.
