| 19 March 2010 | Spring in Brittany, France sounds nice and warm, but this year spring is rather late, so the old airplane hangars used for the CFIA exhibition in Rennes from 9-11th of March were a rather cold experience. This being said the innovative products highlighted at the Alfalfa/KMC stand received a warm welcome by the many visitors. During the successful exhibition the dynamic duo of Francois Masson, Head of the Texture dept. at Alfalfa, and Sr. Application Manager, Frédéric Bénard made several product and application demonstrations with main focus on the ColdSwell, EmulsiForm and FiberBind ranges, and during the exhibition several projects and opportunities were established. 
The mutual and continuing investments in and penetration of the French market orchestrated by Gilles Dufresne, CEO at Alfalfa and Jens Helmer Larsen, Commercial Manager at KMC, is becoming quite a success story and the expectations for the future are high. 
The French Food Industry is without a doubt one of the most innovative and trend setting in the world and the industry is on a constant look-out for new possibilities utilizing the latest and most sophisticated ingredients on the market. Of course, this fact plays right into the hands of KMC and our unique products and for this reason Alfalfa/KMC also expects to be present in Rennes next year, So - Bienvenue en CFIA 2011 !  |
