CFIA 2011 in France
From March 15 – 17 KMC participated in the 15th edition of the important French exhibition, CFIA (Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l'Industri Agroalimentaire ), which is the premier event in France aimed at Food industry professionals.
KMC again this year exhibited together with our French agent Alfalfa.
and asked about the exchange of “outstanding ideas” during the exhibition Mr. Francois Masson of Alfalfa answered “Mission accomplished”.
KMC´s value proposition for the CFIA 2011 exhibition was focused on Innovation and cost efficiency represented by our unique product lines;
CheeseMaker - Stretching the idea of Cheese
FiberBind - let our fiber work for you
ColdSwell - the all-temperature starch
and during the exhibition a lot of attention was centered to the newly launched CheeseMaker PT70 & CheeseMaker CF55.
CheeseMaker CF55 is the new starch solution from KMC, which is unique in its ability to replace casein/milk proteins up to 100% in recombined or analoque cheese products. CheeseMaker CF55 offers the customers an ingredient solution, which makes it possible to optimise the cost profile of the final cheese product without compromising block firmness, schredding nor melting properties.
With increasing commodity prices worldwide - linked with increasing pressure from the food service and retail-industry to maintain or even reduce prices, the answer is to introduce the CheeseMaker range.
Finally, it also offers Dairy companies the possibility to complete their product range with a vegetarian or vegan solution.
During the successful exhibition the dynamic duo of Francois Masson, Head of the texture dept. at Alfalfa and KMC Sr. Application Manager Frédéric Bénard made several product demonstrations resulting in numoreus projects and opportunities being discussed, not only related to France, but also with several none-French visitors. |
