In connection with the state visit to Moscow headed by Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Prince Consort and His Royal Highness The Crown Prince KMC’s representative in the Russian market Mr. Sergeij Pronin was awarded
 
The Diploma of the Danish Export Association and
His Royal Highness Prince Henrik’s Medal of Honour
 
in recognition of his outstanding efforts in promoting and marketing KMC products in Russia.
 
The Diploma and the Medal are Denmark’s most prestigious recognition for extraordinary achievement in promoting and marketing Danish products and services abroad.

The ceremony took place during a reception hosted by the Danish Ambassador to Russia, Tom Risdahl Jensen.
Speeches were given by Ulrich Ritsing, Chairman of the Danish Export Association and by HRH Prince Henrik, and the Medal was presented to Sergeij Pronin by HRH Prince Henrik.
 
It is just 15 years ago that KMC started its activities in Russia and today KMC is the largest exporter of starch to the Russian market.
 
The event was attended not only by Sergeij Pronin, Katja Kharlashina and Valentina Sotsevich from the Moscow Office, KMC president Nicolai Hansen, Sales and Marketing Director Bjarne Larsen and Commercial Manager Viggo Sørensen from Denmark, but also KMC’s extensive network of distributors in Russia was in attendance.
