The highly
qualified scientific and technical staff at the KMC R&D department
have an extensive theoretical and practical background in food science
and natural polymer chemistry. These creative people spot new and unconventional
solutions to many problems – to the mutual benefit of KMC and our
customers. The R&D department uses the latest technology in both our process equipment and monitoring systems. For instance we use sophisticated computer models to assess test results. This means that we plan, carry out and evaluate R&D projects rapidly and safely. Since the right equipment is not always available for new processes, our staff also work with leading suppliers on developing such equipment. The R&D department collates individual requests from customers and our sales, application and QA departments, and we use these to develop new products and processes. |
