At KMC Amba, our doors are always open to those who share our ambitions for a sustainable and competitive agriculture built on innovation, responsibility, and cooperation.

To that end we had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Copa-Cogeca – the voice of more than 22 million European farmers and their families as well as Europe’s farmer-owned cooperatives – to our headquarters in Brande.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on how innovation, cooperation, and responsible farming can strengthen Europe’s food systems. As part of the programme, KMC presented its work with new genomic techniques (NGT) and demonstrated how these efforts can help reduce the need for plant protection while ensuring strong and resilient potato crops.

The delegation also explored the many applications of KMC’s potato-based ingredients – from plant-based cheese alternatives to confectionery, dressings, and snacks – showing how the humble potato can play a key role in both the green transition and future food production.

As a farmer-owned cooperative, KMC shares Copa-Cogeca’s belief that value creation starts in the field, grows through cooperation, and ultimately benefits the growers themselves.
